Licensed Outcomes for Victoria
In addition to meeting the requirements for CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations, completing this training program will contribute towards licensed outcomes in Victoria for Crowd Control and Unarmed Guard.
While the licensing requirements for this course require all 19 scheduled units to be completed, the requirements of CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations itself will be met upon completion of cluster 4 (13 units). Below is the breakdown of units which meet requirements of the qualification and which meet licensing requirements. Please consult your course schedule for at which point cluster 4 has been completed if you wish to be awarded the qualification and exit the program early. This however, will not meet the licensing requirements for Victoria Police for Unarmed Guard or Crowd Control. On account of the integrated delivery and assessment of this course, these licensed outcomes are only met both individually and together when the entire course has been satisfactorily completed.

Length of Course:
Days: 18 days – full time (8:30 am – 4:30 pm) Monday to Friday
Nights: 36 nights – part time (6:00 pm – 10:00 pm) Monday to Friday
Weekends: 9 Weekends (18 days) – Saturday & Sunday (8:30 am – 4:30 pm)
‘Course fees include: face-to-face training and assessment, all your course material and manuals, as well as the printing of your certificate/statement of attainment’.
CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations will prepare you for real life experiences and will provide a healthy income for those that gain employment within the Security Industry.
Unarmed Guard and Crowd Controllers can expect and income of $21 – $50 per hour.
This is a condition of approval by the relevant state authorities. You will be professionally prepared and have confidence when confronted with the day to day duties as a security officer. This course is a competency based training program.
Course fees include: All face-to-face training and assessment, course materials, manuals and printing of your CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations certificate.
This course is not currently subsidised by the government funding so is delivered as a fee-for-service program.

Licensed Outcomes for Victoria
The licensed outcomes are only met both individually and together when the entire course has been satisfactorily completed, and you as an individual are approved by LRD.
